Scotland to Host Photodynamic Therapy Brain Cancer Research Centre

Plans are in motion to launch a pioneering Photodynamic Therapy Brain Cancer Centre in Scotland, led by The Global Alliance for Neurosurgical & Brain Cancer Research Innovations in partnership with a top academic institution. Spearheaded by neurosurgeon and PhD candidate Mr. Nazar Vasyliv, the initiative aims to revolutionize glioblastoma treatment through cutting-edge, targeted therapies. The project also includes international collaboration with Australia’s Global Surgical Innovations and will be showcased at the Scottish Parliament and an upcoming global webinar this July hosted by internationally renowned neurosurgeon-scientist, Professor James Rutka, Director of the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre and Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto.
