He also serves as the Chief Editor for the Neurosurgery section of the Medical and Research (MAR) journal, playing a pivotal role in disseminating cutting-edge research to the medical community.

Dr. Williams focuses her research on the pivotal role of stem cells in cancer biology, having extended her research interests investigating stem cells in prostate cancer to their role in Glioblastoma. Her work explores the intricacies of the brain response to both conventional and experimental chemoradiation treatment. Dr. Williams' research has been published in esteemed journals, underscoring her interdisciplinary approach and impactful contributions to the field.
